Propagation by cuttings
If you already have a mango tree, you can pull a second tree from a cutting. To do this, cut off a green branch about 15 to 20 cm long and remove the lower leaves. The branch should be as fresh as possible, not an old branch.

Put this cutting in growing substrate (9.05 € at Amazon *) and always keep the substrate moist. The cutting needs a soil temperature of 22 to 30 ° C, so put it in a warm and bright place.
Pull mangoes from seeds
If you are looking for mango seeds, you have bad cards. Because they are not available in normal stores. The seedling of the mango is well hidden and securely packed in the core of the fruit. If you want to grow a mango yourself, the best thing to do is to get a ripe mango from the supermarket or fruit store.
Sprout a mango seed
Take the core of a ripe mango and thoroughly clean the stuck pulp. Then carefully open the core with a knife or other sharp tool. Be careful not to damage the delicate germ, otherwise it will not germinate.
Fill the tallest possible flower pot with growing substrate, lay the seedling flat on top and cover it with a thin layer of substrate. Moisten the substrate and stretch a transparent film over the pot. Place the nursery pot in a warm, bright place, spray the substrate daily with lime-free water and you will soon have a new mango tree.
