Only feed the celery when it is cooked
These essential oils provide the intense taste that many dogs like. In order for the celery to be digested well, it should only be fed boiled. A light puree is also recommended.
Caution diuretic!
Celery can have a diuretic effect and should therefore only be fed in small quantities to sick dogs.
Tips & Tricks
The dog is allowed to eat both leaves and stems from celery stalks. Both are boiled and mashed.
