Bulbs and young plants - in autumn or spring
You should consider:
- Plant onions only in mild locations in autumn
- in rough locations do not plant until spring
- Put early young plants outdoors from May
- for autumn planting: protect the winter
Seeds - in autumn
If you want to grow ranunculus from seeds, it is best to put the seeds outside in the ground from mid-September until the end of October at the latest. They are light germs that should hardly or not at all be covered with earth.
Tips
If you want to plant ranunculus in pots, you should do so in spring, as the plants would freeze to death in autumn.
