How much fertilizer does the frangipani need?
Like all succulents, Frangipani also need additional nutrients. However, caution is advised. Over-fertilization is just as harmful as an undersupply of nutrients.

How often does Frangipani need to be fertilized?
Start fertilizing the plumeria in spring when the first new leaves appear. As soon as the plant enters the dormant phase, which you can see by the increased leaf shedding, stop fertilizing.
Give fertilizer every two weeks from April to the end of July. After repotting, you do not need to fertilize frangipani for several months.
The right fertilizer for frangipani
As long as the frangipani is still young, it needs a fertilizer that contains a lot of nitrogen. You can provide older plants with fertilizer containing phosphate.
Add the liquid fertilizer to the irrigation water and make sure that you never wet the leaves with it.
Suitable substrate for plumeria
The selection of the right plant substrate is an important basis for the thriving of Frangipani. The plant is comfortable in soil that is rich in nutrients. It must be well permeable to water, as waterlogging cannot be tolerated. The pH should be seven.
Do not repot frangipani too often. Only when the pot is completely rooted should you transplant it into a larger container. Make sure that there is a drain hole in the bottom of the pot. To be on the safe side, create a drain in the bottom of the pot.
Tips
Frangipani belongs to the dog poison family and is therefore poisonous. Decorative ornamental plants have no place in a household with children and pets.
