The jacaranda tree blooms in spring
The flowering time of the jacaranda or rosewood tree begins in spring and lasts for two weeks.
However, even with the best care, the jacaranda flowers very rarely in indoor cultivation, as it has to reach a certain height for flower formation.
A flowering period occurs occasionally in large greenhouses or botanical gardens, where the Jacaranda tree can grow tall enough.
Tips
The Jacaranda tree is easy to prune and is therefore often used as a bonsai. When wiring the tree, care must be taken to ensure that the wires are removed in good time before the branches grow thick.
