The flower development
- The purple flowers sit on a tubular stem up to 100 cm high and remain in the bud stage. Seeds are very rarely formed.
- The sham umbels form small bulbs that can be used for propagation.
Tips & Tricks
In June you can cut or break the garlic flowers and use them for decorative purposes. The plant then has more strength and forms larger bulbs.
