Since the wisteria does not like waterlogging, plant it in a container with a hole in the bottom. This allows excess irrigation or rainwater to drain off. An old pottery shard placed over the hole prevents the drainage from being blocked by earth.
How do I care for wisteria on my balcony?
Similar to a bonsai, the roots should also be pruned if there is wisteria in the pot. It also has to be watered daily, in the summer during the flowering period and twice on hot days. It is best to water in the morning and / or early evening.
