If at all, only a finished turf should be laid on the balcony. Here the grass plants are already firmly rooted.
Maintain lawn on the balcony
A real balcony lawn also needs to be looked after. This includes hand blasting and regular mowing. Given the size, it is usually only worthwhile to use a small hand lawn mower or secateurs to keep the grass small.
