Recognize the right moment

  • Fruits turn yellowish
  • not yet fully ripe

Careful transport:

Quinces are ideally stored next to each other. This is how you avoid pressure points. Particularly mature specimens cannot be stored. They will be processed immediately. Unripe quinces can be kept cool for up to 8 weeks.

It is advisable to check the fruit before storage. Troubled quinces rot quickly. Process these immediately. In no case are they suitable for raw consumption.
