The love for sun and warmth is enormous
Lobelia crave sunshine and warmth. You need a lot of light to feel comfortable and to be able to produce numerous flowers. Sheltered and sunny to partially shaded locations are therefore ideal.

Tips
In winter lobelia do not need any space on the balcony, terrace or in the garden bed. They do not survive winter and can be torn out in October. This creates space for planting other plants.
