Consistently warm and humid
The African violet, which is poisonous for cats, loves high humidity. The place should be light to partially shaded. The African violet cannot make friends with full sun. The bathroom and kitchen are therefore predestined for this plant.
Here are some other important information that will make it easier to choose a location:
- North, east and west windows are suitable
- Temperature between 18 and 15 ° C (never below 16 ° C!)
- Temperature should be constant
- do not expose to drafts
- do not place near a running heater (dry air)
- high humidity causes better growth

If the African violet is exposed to too much sun, it will bloom and the leaves will turn yellow.
