Pour orchids correctly - this is how it works
Waterlogging is the greatest enemy of your orchids in pots. An excess of water brings down the flower's beauty much faster than short-term drought. How to do it right:
- Water the orchids in the pot twice a week during the summer
- Do not water more than once a week in winter
- Let the excess water drain well and only then put it back into the planter

Please only use collected rainwater or decalcified tap water. By lifting the pot, you can easily find out when you need to water again. A dry root ball is as light as a feather.
Fertilize orchids in a balanced way - this keeps the nutrient balance in balance
High up on the giant jungle there is a nutrient diaspora for orchids. However, the epiphytes in the pot cannot do completely without a supply of food. As long as the plant is growing and blooming, give a special liquid fertilizer for orchids every 3 to 4 weeks. Stop fertilizing during the rest period. Cutting Orchids Isn't Hard - How To Do It Right
When caring for orchids, experienced hobby gardeners are guided by an important rule of thumb when it comes to pruning: never cut green parts of plants. This premise applies to leaves, stems, bulbs and aerial roots alike. Do not cut off a leaf until it has completely died. Leave a dried bulb on the orchid until the next repotting so that it can only be removed once it has been potted. Simply pluck withered flowers.

Do not plant an orchid in regular potting soil. Both the epiphytic and the terrestrial species require a coarse orchid soil, composed of pieces of bark and inorganic components.
