Hydrangea “Limelight” tolerates sunny locations

Treat your “Limelight” to a place in the sun

In contrast to the statement otherwise typical for hydrangeas that it is better not to expose the shrub to direct solar radiation, the advice for panicle hydrangeas is to choose a sunny to light-shaded location with predominantly direct sunlight. The plant also feels very comfortable in partially shaded places, provided it is protected.

“Limelight” grows almost everywhere

The “Limelight” hydrangea is also pleasantly uncomplicated in terms of soil and also thrives wonderfully in less than optimal substrates. Of course, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic to neutral soil is best.

Tips & Tricks

Hydrangeas need a generous amount of water, especially in sunny locations, as they - like all hydrangeas - draw a lot of water. Regular watering should also be ensured when it is dry.
