How to freeze coriander stem by stem

During freezing, the tissue cells of coriander lose their structure, so that the herb has a mushy consistency after thawing.   • harvest and wash the coriander leaves
  • dry carefully so that the paste does not water down
  • Pour into the food processor and chop
  • while the device is active, add 60 milliliters of olive oil to every 100 grams of coriander
  • alternatively use a different cooking oil or just water

First fill the finished paste into the compartments of an ice cube tray and freeze everything. So that the bowl is not occupied for months, remove the coriander cubes and put them in a freezer. Label before final freezing and use within 3 months.

No freezer in the house or no time to freeze? Then you don't have to do without spicy coriander in winter.
