What is a peasant rose?

However, if it is very nutritious, the peony may not want to bloom properly. Don't plant peonies too densely so that they can grow undisturbed.

You should especially water young plants; older peonies with their long taproots usually draw enough moisture from the depths. If the peony blooms very profusely and if it is in a rather dry place or if it is a longer drought, then water this plant a little in the morning or in the evening without causing standing moisture.
