In the refrigerator

When cleaned and cut into small pieces, the curled mother hen will keep for about one to two days, provided you store it in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator. Do not pack them in a plastic box or similar, but wrap them in a dry and clean kitchen towel (preferably made of cotton or linen). A finished dish can also be temporarily stored in the refrigerator for a day.

Freeze

The bite-sized and cleaned pieces of the frilled mother hen should be blanched for a few minutes in boiling salted water before freezing. Then dry the pieces well and freeze them in a freezer at at least minus 18 ° C. Ready meals can also be frozen, but they can only be kept for a maximum of two to three months.
