The best site conditions in a nutshell

- Sunny to partially shaded location
- In summer with temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius
- In winter not below 18 degrees Celsius
- Gladly with a humidity of more than 50 percent

Green-leaved Benjamini varieties show their green side even in the light shade. They suffer fatal sunburn in full sun. In contrast, multicolored hybrids develop the decorative color of their leaves perfectly in a sunny location, as long as they are protected from blazing summer sun at noon.
Summer freshness on the balcony is desirable
The weeping fig shows its most beautiful side when it can enjoy the unfiltered sunlight and fresh air on the balcony between May and September. Of course, only clear out your Benjamini when the nighttime temperatures no longer drop below 16 degrees. In order for the summer freshness to start smoothly, a Ficus benjamina should first acclimate itself in the shady place for 8 to 10 days.
